**The Role**

We are looking for a dynamic self-starter with exemplary interpersonal skills and a commitment to supporting people living with mental illness. Our team of Program Coordinators takes the leading role in championing our onsite supported employees and participants, supporting and guiding them as they engage with our social enterprises and recreational programs.

While working in a team supporting a diverse range of activities, your primary focus will be on our facilities and Helpers functions. The facilities team creates inclusive, skill-building employment opportunities for individuals through tasks such as cleaning, light maintenance and service provision to our onsite community. Many facilities team members also work in Helpers, our multi-service social enterprise that provides lawn care, property maintenance and home support services. As the coordinator for these functions, you will work alongside supported employees, providing training and guidance, championing safety and ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed. Through a person-centered approach, you will deliver impactful employment and life skills coaching through hands-on, experiential engagement on the job.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Work directly with participants and supported employees to understand their strengths, goals and ambitions
- Use this personalized knowledge to assist individuals in achieving their goals through participation within our social enterprises and onsite activities
- Develop effective coaching and skill building plans and activities for participants and supported employees
- Take a proactive leadership role in the facilities and Helpers functions, ensuring all necessary activities are completed in a timely, effective and safe manner
- Deliver the responsibilities of the facilities and Helpers functions through a combination of personal action and delegation which forms training opportunities
- Monitor results to ensure that tasks have been completed to the required output and deliver coaching guidance as appropriate
- Provide accurate reports and assessments as per funding reporting requirements
- Interact with community customers using the Helpers services
- Support other Program Coordinator functions as necessary during busy periods and absence

**Additional Requirements**
- Driver’s License and clear Driver’s Abstract
- Must complete a vulnerable sector check
- Walking: ability to walk for up to 60 minutes
- Standing: ability to stand for up to 60 minutes
- Bending/crouching/kneeling/climbing: full abilities, used occasionally each day
- Lifting: up to 50lbs unaided, used occasionally each day

Pay: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
