**Position Overview**

G&F’s Central Operations is looking for a quick-learning, organized and highly detailed individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join the team as Member Services Partner.

The Member Services Partner provides professional, efficient and collaborative administrative and operational support pertaining to branch and back office operations to aid in service excellence to all credit union members. The incumbent will be conversant in relevant regulatory and corporate policies and procedures and possess an understanding of end-to-end payment processes. The Member Services Partner sets an example of operational efficiency in a culture committed to continuous improvement.

**Core Outcomes**:
Process Administration & Improvement
- Monitors the daily processing of all individual and batch banking transactions via the clearing system.
- Processes and returns clearing, including rejected items, within CPA regulated timelines.
- Monitors and balances relevant general ledgers and prepares branch reconciliations. Runs regular and ad-hoc reports and resolves discrepancies.
- May perform administrative duties related to preparation and filing of FINTRAC reports such as AML, Large Cash Transaction Reports and Suspicious Transaction reports.

Member Support
- Keeps abreast of policy and procedure changes applicable to the position and helps facilitate changes by assisting others with procedural advice.
- Identifies and recommends process improvements using Lean Principles for better interaction efficiencies.
- Maintains regular contact with internal and external members in a friendly and professional manner and promptly provides assistance to all members.
- Provides support to branch staff, acting as the key contact for all item processing and unusual clearing situations and responding to all inquiries including trackers.

General Administration
- Monitors and distributes daily incoming and outgoing mail and faxes.
- Performs indexing of corporate documents and member files as required.
- Assists internal members with document retrieval and information requests.

**Qualifications**
- High school completion and up to 1 year of post-secondary education in business or office administration would be an asset.
- Up to 1 year of related experience in a similar role
- Proactive and committed to service excellence with the inclination for process improvement
- Adaptability to change and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Sound judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Demonstrated ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of products
