**Desktop Support Technician**

CopieurTech Inc is a Dorval, QC based company that provides IT support and IT support and support to government and commercial clients. We are currently looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Dorval, QC.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide 24 7 desktop support to clients with the ability to resolve issues on a one-on-one basis.
- Provide desktop support to clients by resolving issues, performing hardware and software installations, and performing routine maintenance on client equipment.
- Provide desktop support to clients by identifying and resolving issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and user productivity.
- Identify new hardware, software, peripherals, or devices for installation or use in the organization.
- Install or configure new hardware or software devices or peripherals on client computers.
- Troubleshoot hardware or software problems and identify solutions.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity problems and identify solutions.
- Troubleshoot user issues and provide solutions for remote users.
- Perform routine maintenance on client equipment including but not limited to installing new hard drives, updating drivers, removing old drivers, repairing broken hard drives, etc..
- Maintain documentation regarding client hardware or software installations or changes.
- Document all work performed on client computers in the organization’s knowledgebase.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred (Computer Science/Electrical Engineering) Associate’s Degree Preferred (Computer Science/Electrical Engineering) Technical Certifications (Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional (Computers), etc.)Certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional (Computers), CCNA Routing & Switching, CCNA Security Administrator Certification (preferred), CCNA Security Administrator Certification (preferred) Experience: 1+ years of desktop support experience in a similar environment; 2+ years of desktop support experience in a government or commercial environment; 1+ years of desktop support experience in a similar environment; 2+ years of desktops; 1+ years of desktops; 1+ years of networking; 1+ years of networking; 1+ years of user administration; 1+ years of user administration; 3+ years of user administration experience; 3+ years of computer troubleshooting experience; 2+ years of computer troubleshooting experience; 3+ years of computer administration experience; 2+ years of computer administration experience; 3+ years of computer troubleshooting experience; 2+ years of computer troubleshooting experience; 3+ years of computer administration experience; 2+ years of computer administration experience; 3+ years of computer installation or configuration experience; 2+ years of installation or configuration experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 or 2012 R2 Hyper-V or other similar operating systems.
