**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Process requests for service (eg. scheduling appointments, sewer clearing, TV inspections, water off/on, forestry inquiries etc.), communicate information, and generate necessary work orders.
- Organize and arrange for scheduling of work orders for City maintenance programs (eg. water meter replacement and maintenance, sewer maintenance, Minimum Maintenance Standards Inspection, Roads and Utilities reinstatements, Sidewalk Inspection and Spot repair etc.).
- Input daily labour hours, equipment, materials, contractors and accomplishment units and reconcile using current software. Investigate and resolve discrepancies and run reports for verification.
- Process daily requests for all utility locates including follow-up, filing, documentation, recording weekly billings and processing for payment.
- Investigate, organize and maintain tree history/inspection information. Complete and document work orders and contact property owners as directed.
- Receive and transmit radio communications providing acknowledgement and giving priority to emergency/hazardous situations through dispatch procedures.
- Prepare and maintain log of radio transmissions and telephone calls.
- Perform employee overtime callout in accordance with the collective agreements and general rules of practice ensuring job classification lists are updated accordingly.
- Maintain awareness and records of work crew locations and vehicle activity through GPS (eg. winter control, extreme weather conditions, specifics of vehicle load content and location etc.).
- Set up and complete work orders and employee timesheets during winter control events, extract and compile data as required.
- Communicate with Equipment Rental Contractors to arrange for employ of vehicles and equipment during winter control, verify and maintain spreadsheet as required.
- Process sidewalk snow removal tickets as per complaints and inspections, document data and process billing for invoicing.
- Responsible for maintaining spreadsheets (eg. 24 hour Operator in Charge Spreadsheet etc.) including tracking and inputting hours, balancing, and generating a monthly report in compliance with applicable legislation.
- Perform other similar and related duties as required.

**Position Requirements**:

- Grade 12 Diploma.
- One (1) year administration experience preferably in a municipal setting.
- Current Knowledge of applicable union collective agreements with proven understanding of overtime callout procedures.
- Effective time management skills and attention to detail with the ability to organize work to meet deadlines, multi-task and work independently in situations with mínimal supervision.
- Proven customer service and communication skills with the ability to exercise judgment in emergency situations and effectively liaison with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and current operational software programs (eg. Work Manager, Kronos etc.). Experience using Workmax software, two-way radio system and intercoms would be an asset.
- Availability to work flexible hours (ie. Working shifts for a 7 day, 24 hour operation, overtime, winter control, etc.)
- A demonstrated commitment to enhancing a safety culture.
- Proven completion of Ministry of Labour Worker Health and Safety Awareness training.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence, Class “G”, with a clean driving record.

**CUPE 157 Pay Group 5** - Minimum $51,389 annually; Maximum $57,199 annually

**Expected Work Location**: Lake St Service Centre

**Hours of Work**: Currently Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 4:30pm
