The Accounting/Administrative Assistant provides help to the accounting team with their clerical and administrative duties.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Creating Cheque Requisitions for Above the Guideline Applications.
- Updating and changing the CRRM’s for all the properties and units monthly.
- Update meeting minutes for property managers to view for Above the Guidelines.
- File RTB Orders, amendments, and Decisions.
- Help accounts receivable person by entering the online residential and condo payments daily.
- tracking step leases and online payments.
- Process daily cash outs, transmit cheques, assist in the process of move ins, and move outs, and process manual deposit slips monthly for accounts receivable when required.
- Process TD Savings Bank Reconciliations.
- Cover Reception duties such as answering the phone and processing payments.
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma
- Demonstrated communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to multitask
- Strong client relation skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Products
- Office experience an asset
- Knowledge of the Property Management an asset
All qualifications comply with provincial human rights legislation.
**Training specifications and schedule**
- Orientation to TRGs policies and procedures: 1-2 weeks
- YARDI training to ensure navigation capabilities: 3-4 weeks
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 14 months
