**What is the opportunity?**

As part of the Financial Shared Services (FSS) Onboarding Team, the Initiative Manager is responsible for leading and implementing onboarding initiatives related to new or existing products and processes.

The incumbent will partner with Finance, Business and Operations to understand the requirements and design optimal processes, collaborate with our Automation Team to implement necessary solutions, and provide training to our officers to land the processes in our Service Pillars in FSS.

The Initiative Manager is also responsible for establishing strong and trusted relationships with our stakeholders as a key senior representative of the client-facing team in FSS.

**_ Note:_**_ This role is a _**_fixed-term contract _**_position for a duration of 9 (nine) months._

**What will you do?**
- Leverage intermediate/advanced-level corporate finance knowledge and people management skills to communicate Financial Shared Services (FSS) immediate and long-term automation process improvements with a sense of urgency
- Drive change and transformational efforts that impact an enterprise-wide scope for the Financial Shared Services (FSS) team
- Manage end-to-end automation project complexes while articulating value, understanding and knowledge of financial transaction flows/architecture to internal stakeholders, Global Reconciliation Services team, and cross-functional IT/business product owners
- Plan and delegate daily deliverables and long-term initiatives with senior managers on a team that strives to improve financial transaction flow efficiencies across the enterprise

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-have**
- 3-5 years’ experience in financial services preferred
- Complex and mature understanding of financial reporting and process improvement
- In-depth experience with change and transformational management, particularly with automation process improvements
- Comfortable with overseeing current team processes and task delegation, managing cross-functional and enterprise-level relationships.

**Nice-to-have**
- Lean Six Sigma designation (Yellow Belt) - an asset
- Excel and PowerPoint skills (Intermediate level) - an asset
