**Who we need**
- This is a hybrid role with the requirement to work in-office five days over two weeks._

**As our new Human Resources Business Partner, you will**:

- _ Focus on building powerful business partnerships._ You will consult with senior leadership to identify and plan people strategies to enable business results and aggressive growth and expansion commitments. You will lead the design, implementation and evaluation of people solutions that contribute to achieving business unit goals and objectives.
- _ Optimize organizational effectiveness._ You will build processes and programming to increase engagement and happiness. You will work in partnership with the leadership and management teams to foster a culture that offers unparalleled employee satisfaction, including job coaching, career pathing, and succession planning.
- _ Collaborate. _You will effectively partner and execute HR business cycles with Cineplex COEs, such as compensation, talent assessment, performance management, etc. You will work closely with Cineplex Talent and Learning and Total Rewards COEs to deliver high-impact learning and development programs and effective total rewards strategies that drive business results and talent retention and attraction.

**You bring**:

- _ The experience. _As an HR Business Partner at a matrixed and scaling organization, you have extensive expertise in bridging People programs that mirror business needs. You come with a deep understanding of how to design and implement best practices, including performance management, total rewards, employee relations and investigations, management coaching, culture and values. You have the experience to know what works and doesn't work in small-to-midsize companies. As a strategic thought leader, you can independently execute your ideas and champion plans while remaining open and flexible to feedback. You have an in-depth understanding of Human Resources functions, employee relations, applicable employment legislation across Canada, including Quebec, and employment standards.
- _ The consulting approach._ You can - and want to - embed yourself across the company and with our parent companies. You are a true partner and contributor, working alongside your internal clients and empowering them with the tools, strategies, resources, and project plans to meet business goals. You prioritize building and nurturing ongoing relationships, earning trust and influencing without authority. You ask intelligent questions to obtain information, identify root causes, and determine business solutions, with the ability to execute them from concept to rollout, ensuring adoption and engagement.
- _ The project management skills._ You can identify gaps or problems, think critically, and propose and execute solutions. You can take the initiative and see it through from project plan to rollout, meeting deliverables, budget and timing, seamlessly a
