Over 65 years the International Symphony Orchestra is an enduring performance & educational resource between London ON and Detroit MI, both the strongest regional orchestra and the longest-serving cross border orchestra on the continent, led by Music Director and Conductor Douglas A. Bianchi. We operate from the ISObar, a performance space, event rental facility, art gallery, licensed establishment and administrative office, and we perform in several venues in Canada and Michigan.
- This is a full-time hybrid role, meaning that while the position is primarily onsite at the ISObar and Gallery on Christina St, some remote work is acceptable.
- You will report to the Executive Director with responsibility for actively establishing and cultivating relationships with community partners to broaden ISO's reach and grow our audience. You are a primary point of contact for the public, guaranteeing a positive experience for ISO's patrons through ticket sales. You also help build relationships with community organizations and collaborate with volunteers and partner sponsors. This position contributes to our mission of inspiring people through powerful orchestral performances and youth education projects
- You are primarily responsible for the support and execution of all marketing and communication initiatives, working closely with our graphic artist and social media specialist. The role will be measured based in part on contribution to community engagement through hosted and sponsored events, as well as online engagement with target audiences.
- Co-management of social platforms
- Co-management of ISObar rental events with bar manager
- Tracking ticket sales and managing subscribers’ needs
- Execution of Marketing Plan for Summer Events and ISO 2024-25 Season
- Collaborate with the International Symphony Association, our community volunteer group, on special concert and fundraising projects
- Help coordinate the ISO’s educational initiatives, including the El Sistema string instruction program in First Nations communities
- Assist bookkeeper with general Admin duties
- Plan, organize and prepare for special events like concerts, parties, fundraising and more
- Implement and organize the company’s documents or contract
- Prepare ticket sales reports
- Work closely with Executive Director to develop policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Answering phone calls and making ticket purchases via phone or walk-in
- Making sure office is organized, systematic and clean

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months

**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
- charity/nonprofit: 1 year (preferred)
