**Overview**:
The role of a Media Planner is to manage the media planning product through preparing and presenting media recommendations and plans. This role requires you to work as part of an integrated media team to ensure the product is grounded in insights, experience and data, resulting in flawless media executions.
**Your Responsibilities**:
Media Strategy Development and Execution
- Deliver findings from various Media research tools to identify audience targets, media habits/trends and competitive landscape.
- Translate client briefs into ideas and actions - develop comprehensive media plans & present recommendations across all channels including analysis and rationale that answers the client objectives and go beyond the brief.
Media Planning and Client management
- Prepare and maintain blocking charts and regularly evaluate the campaign performance working with the activation team to ensure adherence of client requirements.
- Prepare and present evaluations of media opportunities or POVs of interest to clients, fostering strong client relationships and respectful partner relationships through responsible, reliable, and resourceful interactions.
- Manage end to end Print & (D)OOH plans.
- Work closely with creative agencies (wherever applicable) in developing holistic recommendations.
Vendor Management and Negotiations
- Source and evaluate proposals from media partners as required.
- Initiate and coordinate the media buying process across the SME’s in order to deliver exceptional results.
- Remain up to date with latest updates from major media partners.
Finance & Reporting
- Responsible for accurate and timely client finance reports and budget control reports (BCRs).
- Ensure client budgets are managed and on track.
- Work with Finance & Activation teams to ensure invoices are built as per alignment with Blocking charts and client alignment.
- Support and collaborate with Activation teams in the creation of campaign post reports.
Others
Mentor and train junior team members
Continue to proactively develop knowledge of the media landscape, staying informed about industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices.

Education & Experience
- Knowledge of & experience in media planning across both offline and online channels
- Vividata, Vivix, MediaOcean, Prisma knowledge is an asset
- Education in Marketing & Advertising is preferred
- Experience: 3-5 years within an agency environment (minimum of 1 year in integrated media planning or buying experience)
