Catholic Social Services is currently recruiting for one (1), contract, full-time, forty (40) hours per week, **Organizational Change Management Lead**.

**_This is a 2 year contract position. _**

**Job Summary**

The Organizational Change Management Lead will develop implementation plans for the complex change that will occur as part of Digital Transformation in the Agency. The incumbent will prepare the approach to position the Digital Transformation for success by developing a customized and scaled change management strategy with the necessary sponsorship and commitment. They will actively manage the change by creating, implementing and adapting plans that will move individuals and the organization through the change. Finally, they will ensure that the Agency realizes the value of the change by ensuring that the change is adopted and the organization is committed and prepared to sustain the change.

**Job Duties**
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex change concepts.
- Support and maintain the Agency’s digital transformation strategy by aligning change management activities, plans, and resources with Agency objectives.
- Develop the change management approach and a change management plan in collaboration with sponsors, management, users and project teams.
- Ensures that there is a Services and Administrative perspective on how any new technical capabilities will be integrated into operational areas.
- In collaboration with others, plan, design and implement activities to transition the Agency and people to the required future state. Tracks and reports these activities to ensure progress.
- Precisely and consistently, capture Services and Administrative problems and issues related to change management. Respond to such challenges as they arise and address them in an appropriate manner.
- Clearly articulate the impact of business problems and benefits using business language.
- Ensures that business and technical stakeholder needs are aligned by leading productive discussions that surface conflicts of interests and that lead to clear decisions and paths forward.
- Ensures that all stakeholders are aware of the strategic change management approach and timetables. Provides support and guidance to help stakeholders adhere to the approach.
- Contribute to and support the assessment of costs and potential benefits of new approaches to the organization and all stakeholders.
- Foster an innovative and team-oriented work environment.

**Education and Experience**
- A Relevant Diploma/Degree in a related field such as Communications, Business, or Management.
- A demonstrated track record, (minimum 5 years), leading the planning and execution of strategic change efforts in support of organization and cultural change.
- Experience creating and delivering change management activities within a project structure.
- Solid understanding of project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
- A Change Management designation such as Prosci Change Management Practitioner is highly desirable.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Ability**
- Sound knowledge of change management theory and practices and CMBOK.
- Prosci Change Management methodology.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- High level of communication skills with all levels of the organization
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to engage, motivate, coach and mentor team and project members
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Ability to work in a changing environment and take on new challenges
- Strong business awareness and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
- Ability to work collaboratively through others
- Plans and leads strategic, large and complex change management activities aligned with innovation and new technologies.
- Leads the development of organizational capabilities for business process improvement and ensures adoptions and adherence to policies and standards.
- Creates and implements action plans to ensure everything is ready for the change before going live.
