The NAIT Student Resolution Office is the direct source for investigating alleged student non-academic misconduct (both on and off campus), adjudicating cases and determining appropriate sanctions for students found responsible for violating the Student Rights and Responsibilities.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Student Experience, this position is responsible for providing leadership and management of the Student Resolution Office (SRO). This position will provide leadership, vision and direct oversight of the student conduct processes, while playing a critical role in advocating for a fair process, encouraging student development, addressing community issues, intervening in negative behaviors, facilitating solutions, and collaborating with campus and community partners.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Strategically and operationally leading the team through fostering teamwork; identifying and supporting professional development opportunities and providing day-to-day supervision.
Managing workflow
Managing escalated cases
Development of policies and procedures
Budget preparation and related administrative activities
Collaborating with academic and non-academic leaders across NAIT to understand and address the broader needs of the students.
Represent the Student Resolution Office on internal and external committees/ projects/ initiatives; liaison with stakeholders; back-up Chair and member of Student of Concern Team
- Will carry a caseload

**Skills & Abilities**:
Knowledge of best practices related to student rights and responsibilities.
Knowledge of supervisory and leadership theories, methods, techniques and practices.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum 5 years of related experience including supervisory and leadership experience.
Related Master's Degree or a combination of a Bachelors Degree and significant related work experience

Applicants with education credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentials evaluated by World Education Services or the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS).

**Remuneration**: $87,684.22 - $116,170.86 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
