Vancouver, Canada Pinnacle Renewable Energy Inc. Full time

**Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Manager, North America**

**Location - US / Canada (Hybrid)**
**Permanent Role**

Do you have the passion and skills to make a real difference in DEI at Drax?
We're committed to creating a fair, safe, and inclusive working environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to do their best work. Our commitment to DEI is at the core of our purpose, which is to enable a carbon-negative, lower cost energy future.

**About the Role**
As a DEI Manager in our growing international team, you will play an integral role in building an inclusive culture. You'll be accountable for implementing and embedding the Drax Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategy in the North America region. Ensuring that our international DEI initiatives are relevant, impactful, and tailored to our colleagues across the US and Canada. You'll work closely with colleagues across our corporate offices and pellet plants, to implement their DEI Action Plans, monitor, and improve our DEI metrics for the region, and bring our Cultural/Celebration Calendar to life.

Our DEI manager will work across the region to understand the diverse cultures and communities we serve and implement localised actions to drive DEI. You’ll be a key member of our team, encouraging, educating, and inspiring our colleagues to build a more inclusive Drax.

This role requires regular travel between our sites in the United States and Canada to effectively carry out our DEI work. However, we are deeply committed to ensuring you have the flexibility you need to do your best work, whether that’s at home or in an office.

**About You**
You’ll have a few years experience working on DEI initiatives or come with amazing transferrable skills from your experience in a related role. You’ll be a talented relationship-builder and communicator with colleagues at all levels even in challenging environments. You’ll be comfortable using those skills to build trust with under-represented or historically marginalized communities.

You’ll have the passion to really understand our communities and the skill to implement data-led, engaging DEI initiatives. You’ll be ready to work independently on DEI projects, confident in your project management and communication skills. We're just starting our DEI work in North America, so we need someone who can adapt their knowledge and skills to a challenging operational environment and help us build the foundations for our future, together.

**About Drax**
Drax is playing a vital role in helping change the way energy is generated, supplied, and used. To learn more about how we’re enabling a zero carbon, lower cost energy future and our big plans for the future, click here.
