**Project Coordinator, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)**

Reporting to the Manager of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), the Project Coordinator leads and implements DEI projects and initiatives across PHSA in alignment with the departmental objective of removing barriers and improving the access and delivery of healthcare to diverse staff and patient populations.

**What you’ll do**
- In consultation with the Manager and with input from relevant stakeholders, the position develops sustainable initiatives and identifies barriers to dismantling systemic inequities.
- The Project Coordinator evaluates and measures project outcomes and process improvements utilizing various ways of knowing to collect and communicate the stories and narratives of the organization.
- The Project Coordinator liaises with leaders, physicians and staff to develop and implement DEI education and training across the organization.
- The Project Coordinator builds relationships with various partners to foster a culture shift towards creating an organization that is diverse, inclusive and equitable.

**What you bring**

**Qualifications**:

- A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Health or Social Sciences plus a five (5) years in a responsible research assistant, project coordinator, or policy analyst role in a health, social services, government, or community organization.
- As a change agent who inspires others, you play the role of collaborator, curator and educator, working with all PHSA departments, services and programs to develop partnerships, adopt new practices and inspire others.
- Leads and implements DEI projects and initiatives across PHSA in consultation with the Manager and with input from relevant stakeholders.
- Lived and working experience in diversity, accessibility, inclusion and equity.
- Develops project plans and timelines, identifies project deliverables, tracks project progress and evaluates outcomes.
- Identifies project barriers or process problems and supports their resolution for the successful implementation and maintenance of projects/initiatives.
- Ability to liaise with all people including leaders, physicians and staff to develop DEI education and training.
- Provides training on tools and processes as required and oversees the development of education and training materials.
- Utilizes data collection methods such as surveys and focus groups to solicit input and feedback from diverse staff and patient populations and to evaluate and measure change.
- Works in conjunction with the DEI team to communicate with key stakeholders and the organization on the scope and status of DEI initiatives.
