**Business Development Manager**

ParaMed, a division of Extendicare, has been providing healthcare solutions across Canada since 1974. One of our solutions is focused on offering a core service to post-secondary healthcare institutions. As a Business Development Manager, you will be focused on accelerating the growth of this offering through building awareness, generating leads, and securing new customers. This role will be supported by the Senior Director of Operations.

**What you will deliver**:

- Lead sales activities, and execute outbound business development to drive new customers
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends to inform sales strategy, sell sheets, product roadmap, etc.
- Build and execute outbound business development and advertising plans and follow up communication to increase interest in our service offering
- Build product awareness in the market, and identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers at private and public educational institutions to educate them on and sell our service offering
- Identify and participate in online and in-person networking opportunities such as associations, conferences and tradeshows, social media, etc.
- Interact with delivery team, who act as sales support as required, and provide them with market feedback
- Monitor sales metrics and achieve sales targets and outcomes.

**What you bring**:

- Minimum three years business development experience, preferably selling to healthcare or education institutions, or selling services in any industry
- Expertise in sales and lead generation
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to craft your own sales strategy/plan
- Proven delivery of quotas and targets
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Energetic, tenacious and driven to succeed
- Ability to work at a fast pace while managing competing demands
- Excellent communication skills
- Bilingualism (French) is an asset
- Ability to travel across Ontario and eventually across Canada.
