Idealogical Systems, in business since 1995, is hiring a Business Development Rep to help us grow to the next level. Idealogical will consider hiring only the ultimate team player and a well-rounded individual who has the right balance of qualification and personality.

All our positions are client facing in some capacity.

Idealogical is located in Markham and serves clients headquartered in and around Toronto. Most of the companies we actively seek out and market to exist in the GTA and are of like mind and culture to our own. We are a small business, and we serve small businesses which, for our purposes, means companies under 200 employees.

Full Job Description: 

Are you someone who loves reaching out and connecting with new people? Do you love working with key decision-makers and finding the right solutions for their business? With a combination of sales skills, industry knowledge and the ability to understand client’s needs we have a great opportunity for a self – motivated, energetic individual to join our high performing team

What You'll Do: 

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Outsource IT support sector.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, understanding their IT needs and aligning with Idealogical solutions.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Drive the sales process from lead generation to closure.
  • Analyze market feedback and provide insights to internal teams for product or service enhancements.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand the company's presence.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to effectively communicate the value proposition of IT solutions.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline, and achievements.
  • Work closely with VP of Sales to understand and communicate client requirements.
  • Continuously improve sales strategies based on market feedback and performance metrics.
  • Monitor and analyze competitors' activities, adjusting business development strategies accordingly.

As a knowledgeable Outside Sales Development Representative, you will need to have: 

  • Experience working in fast paced environment managing multiple clients.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with a proven track record of success.
  • A positive personality and enjoy initiating, directing, and managing accounts.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present (in person, web conferencing).
  • A “roll up your sleeves” attitude with the intense drive to “make things happen”.
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment and to balance several clients’ needs simultaneously.
