**Job Overview**

**Working as a Debt Collections Agent, you will**:

- Provide exceptional customer service and problem solving by responding to inbound or making outbound calls where necessary with a high proficiency in English
- Resolve customer service issues by asking open ended questions to resolve their financial situation, answer customer service inquiries and update system records
- Be an active listener who can show empathy and patience in a non-scripted environment and an effective communicator
- Work in a fast paced, high
- volume environment
- Be comfortable with a changing environment and handling multiple client interactions with our customers
- Achieve performance goals for call time, accuracy, quality, de-escalation, and customer satisfaction

**Working as a Debt Collections Agent, you should have**:

- A passion for helping people with exceptional customer service and interpersonal telephone skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to successfully employ de-escalation strategies
- Customer service experience in a call centre management environment preferred but willing to train someone with a strong sales focus, is hungry for growth and committed to ongoing learning

**What We Provide**:
A fair hourly wage based on experience and monthly performance bonuses for achieving specified targets and performance milestones. Employer contributed benefits and an employer RRSP matching program are also provided.
