Overview

We’re looking for an experienced **Administrative Coordinator** to assist and support our senior manager of Policy, Regulation and Research division (PRRD) at WorkSafeBC in our Richmond head office. The Policy, Regulation and Research division supports the Government of British Columbia’s commitment to reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.

**How you’ll make a difference**:You’ll ensure WorkSafeBC is serving stakeholders across B.C. effectively.

**Where you’ll work**

At WorkSafeBC, we offer a **hybrid work model** that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.

In this role, you’ll work primarily from your B.C. home and be on-site at a minimum of once per quarter in our Richmond office or based on operational needs.

What you'll do
- Transcribe, organize and compile, confidential reports, memos, minutes, and correspondence
- Establish and maintain files and records and maintain comprehensive tracking systems for sensitive correspondence and files
- Compile departmental budget summaries and various monthly statistics
- Arrange appointments, meetings and seminars as required, and make travel and accommodation arrangements
- Maintain office supplies and stationery
- Build and maintain cooperative working relationships with a variety of individuals

**Your background and experience**
- **Completion of grade 12**:

- A **minimum of three years** of related work experience in an administrative role supporting senior management and/or Director level operations
- Experience working in law, policy, or with regulations is an asset
- Strong working knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
