The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), the largest faculty at Simon Fraser University, is home to 28 Departments and Programs. Within the Office of the Dean, the Administrative Support team provides administrative support to the leadership team in the Dean's Office on a range of activities from operational to academic support including internal and external events.
**About the Role**
The Manager, Administrative Services provides administrative and office management including events oversight for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Office of the Dean. This role manages the resources and daily operations within the Office of the Dean, leading and managing the administration support function for the Faculty and Dean's Office. This position also serves as a central resource for the Office of the Dean in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in the areas of procurement, renovations, facilities, space management, and operational requirements. Additionally, this role ensures the efficient and effective functioning of the unit by developing strategies and plans to ensure effective administration to achieve objectives and leads ongoing business process improvements.
