Job Description:

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefits package, including a comprehensive health and dental plan, life insurance, and generous vacation time.

Responsibilities:

The Administrative Services Manager will be responsible for:

  • Implementing new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity;
  • Reviewing and evaluating existing administrative procedures to identify areas for improvement;
  • Delegating tasks to office support staff to ensure that all responsibilities are covered;
  • Establishing priorities and ensuring that deadlines are met;
  • Coordinating and planning office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services;
  • Assisting in the preparation of the operating budget and maintaining inventory and budgetary controls;
  • Assembling data and preparing periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence;
  • Performing data entry and other clerical duties as required;
  • Training and developing staff members to enhance their skills and abilities.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field;
  • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a construction industry setting;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
