**WHO YOU ARE**:
The AP Associate is accountable for performing tasks related to invoice entry, statement verification and back up to the AP Specialist.

The Service Center (SC) Associate is accountable for new hire entry, record changes and termination of both employees and contractors in ViewPoint. Also, be responsible for benefit management.

The AP/SC Associate reports to the Service Center Coordinator within the context and prescribed limits established by the Coordinator, Service Center and the Alstar Group of Companies policies and guidelines.

**YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Process a large volume of invoices (150+ per week)
- Maintain required spreadsheets
- Review/verify statements as received
- Troubleshoot invoice/PO issues
- Manage new hires, record changes and termination within Vista ViewPoint
- Administer Group Benefits (Canada Life, Health Spending Account & Manulife)
- Consistently meet deadlines
- Advocacy for organization
- Understand Alstar Group's strategic plan
- Knowledge of the organization's structure

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of basic AP principles - debits/credits; work orders vs invoices
- Ability to troubleshoot invoice/PO issues
- Customer service experience
- Multitasking
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good problem solving skills
- Superior time management skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Commitment to excellence
- Experience working in the Google platform is an asset
- 1-3 years AP experience
- Minimum high school diploma
