Job Description:
Job Summary
This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. He/She may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned.
Job Type: Permanent/Part-Time
Location: 22 AERO DRIVE NE, CALGARY, AB T2E 8Z9
Shift: Monday to Friday (5 days/Week) appx 4:00AM - 8:00AM (typical shifts range between 3-5 hours and can vary and/or extend due to operational requirements)
Compensation: starting at $17.30 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
- Takes ownership of customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions.
- Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
- Operates all equipment, software, and devices and trains others.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environments
- Damage Inspections, damage reports and retapes/rewraps of damaged/fallen packages
- Dealing with overgoods packages
Qualifications:
- High school diploma , GED, or International equivalent
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 70+ lbs/32 kgs.
