The Inside Account Manager’s primary responsibility is to support the Sales team in growing and acquiring additional market share in the Commercial Market. They are also responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships at all levels in their account base. In turn they will leverage these relationships to drive pro-active contract renewal and organically grow the existing base of customers using next generation products and services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Regular Customer visits with the Operational level within the organization.
- Build meaningful and lasting relationship with customers
- Organic upsell/growth quotes and issue orders using appropriate channels.
- Support all migration activity to improve margins
- Pro-actively communicate price and other changes to customers as directed by Product Management
- Pro-actively negotiate contract renewal with a focus on Promoted Services with a specific target of base being under contract
- Prepares quotes and orders, when applicable, using the appropriate systems and tools.
- Manage and maintain the Total-Rev of the base, ensure churn/write down stays within a specific target
- Clarifying, analyzing and assessing client needs and engaging the technical folks to assist with the solution
- Interfaces and liaises with other departments and partners to coordinate specific client issues, concerns and/or needs.
- Assist with the design and regular maintenance of the Strategic Account Plans
- Support and enable the Sales team so they can develop new account acquisition strategy
- Maintains Books of Business for all Strategic and/or Top 10 Named accounts
- Billing
- New Customer, responsible for the first invoice after an install to ensure accuracy before handing over to Business Client Support team.

**Qualifications**:

- Post secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience
- 5-10 years telecom experience in sales or sales support
- Bilingualism French&English: A good knowledge of English is necessary as this role requires regular communication in English with customers and/or team members in other provinces.
- Proven success with Commercial Customers
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills
- Knowledge of telecommunications services with solid understanding of Mobility/IoT and good understanding of Wireline, Cable/Data products and services
- Experience with Rogers services, products, systems and processes preferred
- A strong sense of teamwork, Self-motivated and ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Possess strong work ethics and reliability
- Proven ability to develop, foster and maintain positive relationships with internal teams and external customers
