**Working at Fanshawe College**Note**: This is a regular part-time Support position (up to 24 hours per week).
- ** **Part-time Support Staff employees, as defined by the part-time Support Staff Collective Agreement, will be given first consideration.
- We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable person to support the international engagement team, to both advise the team and transition facilitators. You must feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment, working in collaboration with a larger team.**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Respond and complete all international placement letter requests from students, and coordinate with the International Student Life and Immigration Advising team on any discrepancies.
- Monitor the International Student Life and Immigration Advisors online booking system daily, to cancel duplicates, communicate changes with students, and rebook student appointments where necessary.
- Review and compile trends in student appointment booking requests and services
- Monitor student walk-in appointments, and report to the manager on weekly visits and services rendered, and log contacts changes in the shared student arrivals tracking system accurately
- Support the development, start-up and ongoing growth of the International Student Transition and Engagement Facilitator’s activities, such as Fanshawe Friends
- Compile data and provide strategic suggestions on how to enhance customer service and engagement activities for current students
- Reach out to current and graduating students to compile and maintain a catalog of testimonials, current student success stories, etc., for use in all engagement campaigns
- Assist at peak times with transition and settlement activities (intake triage, orientation, tours)
- During peak times, respond and support all arrival transition and settlement activities (intake triage, orientation) in-person and virtually.
- Communicate information and answer questions from incoming and recently arrived

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary 2-year diploma in Office Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years’ recent and relevant experience (preferably in an office environment)
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines
- Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge and skills to work in Instagram, Facebook, Discord social media platforms
- Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional communication skills
- Flexible schedule
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with groups with mínimal supervision
- Working knowledge with google docs, outlook, and communication platforms
- Design skills an asset
