**Summary**

**Working at Fanshawe College**Note**: These are part-time temporary Faculty positions starting September 6, 2023 and ending December 8, 2023.
- The School of Tourism, Hospitality and Culinary Arts is looking for qualified Part-time, Partial Load and Sessional Professors to teach courses in the following programs:
- Hospitality Math
- Organizational Management
- HR Management and Employee Engagement

- College or university level teaching experience preferred
- Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
- Exceptional presentation, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Works independently and collaboratively as part of an academic team
- Relates effectively to a wide variety of learners
- Capable to teach in-person on campus
- Contributes to and support the program’s and Fanshawe College’s continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with educational technologies (LMS) are preferred
- Collaborates effectively with faculty members on curriculum and uses educational technology - specifically our learning management software FanshaweOnline
- Demonstrates commitment to enhancing equity, inclusion, and diversity by creating a positive learning environment which accommodates students’ diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, experiences, and learning styles
- Engages students in experiential education opportunities
- Demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning and leading innovation

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum post-secondary 2-year diploma studying Human Resources or Finance, with a specific focus on the Hospitality sector in Human Resources, Employee Engagement, or Finance/Accounting
- Minimum 5 years’ diverse, recent, and relevant industry experience
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
- Has networking relationships with industry contacts
