**KEY RESPONSIBILITES**

**Human Resources**
- Support the onboarding process for new hires including processing backchecks using our third-party provider.
- Assist with the HRIS approval process for all employee changes (i.e. salary increases, promotions, terminations, etc.), ensuring all requests are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare HR communications including new employee announcements, Monthly HR Spotlight, etc.
- Participate in career fairs and networking events to attract top talent.
- Support HR initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion within the organization.

**Payroll Administration**
- Assist with processing a semi-monthly payroll for approximately 450 employees nationally in adherence with government legislation and internal policies.
- Process ROEs for departing employees.
- Maintain employee records accurately and up to date in the HRIS/Payroll system.
- Provide payroll support to the team.
- Assist with year-end, GL account reconciliations, payment of remittances, and month end accruals.

**QUALIFICATIONS/ATTRIBUTES**
- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum one (1) year of proven success in an HR administration role in a professional services environment.
- Experience in Commercial Real Estate is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of HR functions, including talent acquisition and payroll processing.
- Familiarity with employment legislation and regulations.
- Solid proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and experience in optimizing technology for HR and payroll functions.
- Strong sense of initiative and ability to adjust to changing priorities.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Collaborative approach to problem-solving and relationship development, and ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional client service orientation.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and creative thinking skills.
- Passionate about fostering an inclusive and positive organizational culture.
