About the Global PR Team
We’re the story-doers and relationship managers. We lead the charge on the "who, what, when, where and why" for how lululemon shows up and how we are talking to media who count on us for product education, a connection to yoga and fitness, and to be engaged with inspiring local stories that shape our global brand. Whether introducing lululemon to new and emerging markets, or building on firmly established relationships, we educate and are the connection to story-doers who generate conversation. No matter where in the world, media see us as the best source of information on innovative retail solutions as we continue to differentiate ourselves globally as a premium athletic retailer.

**A Day in the Life**: What You’ll do
Reporting to the Global PR Senior Manager, the Global Public Relations Lead is responsible for supporting the growth of earned media for our brand. You are a go-to for the details around global product, brand and community initiatives to support the management team leading media relations and agency partners. You are a champion in the way lululemon shows up, driving our communities forward through a relentless commitment to quality.

Core Accountabilities
- Support the development and execution of the overall Global PR strategy which encompasses major product, brand and community initiatives.
- Build PR strategies for major product, brand and community initiatives including: setting KPI's, determining target outlets, message creation, tools and asset development, event planning, and reporting.
- Support managers in executing PR strategies and driving these forward in regions, ensuring close collaboration with regional leads.
- Coordinate the development and execution of brand activations and press previews working closely with cross functional partners.
- Enroll and update internal global teams, regional teams and agency partners as required, including leading regional bi-weekly status calls.
- Lead the preparation of internal and external media materials, including pitches, one-pagers, look books, interview and media briefs, and imagery, both evergreen and campaign specific.
- Proactively build and maintain active relationships with global media and influencers. This work will continue to grow as you grow in role.
- Seek out and support managers with timely newsdesk story opportunities.
- Oversee preparation of weekly PR highlights for internal communications newsletter.
- Lead sample order process.
- Be a key player on a talented team that is passionate about extending lululemon’s long-term brand equity and trust with media.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or diploma in PR, communications or journalism.
- 3-5 years of dynamic experience in the public relations field.
- Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent understanding of media measurement and analysis tools.
- Previous large-scale event experience working with cross functional teams.
- You know what it means to build authentic and meaningful relationships with media and influencers.
- You are experienced in developing and executing communications strategies.
