**Business Partner, Human Resources**

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Establish and maintain partnerships with the management team and Distribution Centre employees to ensure harmonious working relationships;
- Provide quality advice on employee relations;
- Ensure compliance with staffing/selection requirements;
- Manage relations with employment agencies and coordinate arrivals, departures, schedules and timesheets for all temporary employees;
- Proactively manage the entire employee cycle, handling new employee onboarding, status changes and employee departures;
- Promote positive relationships between employees through employee satisfaction surveys;
- Participate in talent assessment and follow up on performance evaluations in conjunction with the leadership team;
- Create partnerships with Specialists/HR Partners and appropriate members of HR to ensure solid business partnerships with client groups;
- Help employees register for benefits programs such as the group benefits program, the group RRSP program, etc.;
- Ensure all important Head Office communications are posted in the Distribution Centre;
- Lead, coordinate, and participate in the organization of social events and activities for the Distribution Centre;
- Conceptualize, deliver and support various Distribution Centre or HR projects;

**To qualify for this role, you must have...**
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources or industrial relations, or equivalent;
- Member of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources, an asset;
- At least three years of experience in a similar position;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
- Excellent knowledge of HR best practices;
- Demonstrated ability and understanding of Quebec labour standards;
- Fluently bilingual (French and English);
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (patience and active listening);
- Good coaching and training skills;
- Good problem-solving skills;
- Enjoy teamwork and have a positive attitude;
- Be motivated and able to work independently;
- Flexible and adaptable;
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
