Training Coordinator

Telecon is looking for an energetic and career minded individual to take on the role of Training Coordinator. This is a full-time position with Health Benefits and company match RRSP. This role requires frequent travel across Ontario.
The Training Coordinator will be responsible for designing and developing training and development programs aimed at growing the skills and abilities of our field staff. In addition, this person will play a key part in the orientation of new staff into the organization across all locations in Ontario.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement training programs for field staff.
- Plan and schedule trainings on regular basis.
- Prepare and maintain training course materials.
- Develop training programs for skill enhancement, performance improvement, career development, etc.
- Evaluate training programs and recommend improvements.
- Ensure that training material and information are updated and available at all times.
- Collaborate across departments to identify relevant training needs.
- Establish trainings programs to suit the current organizational needs.
- Develop and implement orientation programs for new hires.
- Develop creative and innovative approaches to present training programs.
- Maintain training equipment and supplies in safe and good working conditions.
- Reserve training rooms and set-up training equipment for conducting training programs.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience conducting training sessions in front of large groups.
- Prior experience developing training programs.
- Prior experience in the construction industry an asset.
- Must be independent and a self starter.
- Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools.
- Strong communication, presentation and public speaking skills.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite of Products.
- Organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to travel across Ontario frequently.
- Valid G license with clean driver’s abstract.
- Able to successfully complete a criminal background check.
