Youth Opportunities Unlimited is currently seeking a full-time Housing Stability Worker for our Cornerstone Supportive
Housing Program and 340 Richmond. Housing Stability Workers will focus on supporting participants to be anchored in their housing and establish a sense of belonging in the community through the provision of assertive and intensive

**Responsibilities**:

- Mentoring youth with complex needs who have experienced homelessness, and who require coordinated supports not limited to: health, housing, employment, education, financial literacy, relationships through an intensive in-home support model
- Working in collaboration with community partners to address the needs of our youth that have experienced homelessness
- Providing ongoing assessment and integrated case management
- Working with individuals from diverse populations
- Contribute to the program development, program outcomes and goals for the program
- Working various hours - including at times evenings, weekends and holidays included, in various conditions

**Qualifications**:

- University Degree or minimum 2 year College Diploma in human /social services from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with a diverse population, including persons from diverse cultural backgrounds, LGBTQ2S groups, youth
- Proven case management skills are essential
- Strong case documentation, statistical reporting, file management and organizational skills
- Ability to build interpersonal and supportive relationships with youth clients
- Ability to handle a large client caseload, multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Experience working with youth affected by poverty, mental health, justice, addictions and homelessness
- Knowledge of Housing First principles and philosophy essential
- First Aid /CPR certification required
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365 as well as other on-line software programs are required
- Suicide Prevention, Crisis Intervention and Prevention Training (PMAB or CPI) is an asset
- Flexibility in scheduling to meet program needs including evenings and weekends
- Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check for youth population
- Working knowledge of Webtracker and HIFIS is an asset
