**The Position**: We’re looking for a Project Administrator, based out of our New Westminster office.

Reporting into the project team, this position will take a project from the awarded stage through completion of construction. Working with both Superintendents and Estimators, the Project Administrator will be involved in all aspects of construction. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is highly organized and has some basic exposure to a construction environment.

**Requirements**:

- 1-3 year preferred basic construction knowledge preferred
- Basic computer skills, Plan Reading, Scheduling, Estimating
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Works independently and shows initiative;
- Excellent communication and professional personal presentation skills;
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures;
- Must have the ability to work effectively in a high pressure, multi-tasking environment, drive projects forward and meet or exceed goals.
- Professional ethics, tact, and courtesy in dealing with management, team members, vendors and internal and external customers
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to work varied hours as required for specific projects

**Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)**:

- Works closely with estimating staff during project setup
- Ensure field staff is supported with all pertinent information, and maintain accurate project records including the following:

- _-IFC drawings_
- _-BC One Call Information_
- _-Utility Permits_
- _-WorksafeBC Notice of Construction_
- _-Project Contract_
- _-Change Orders_
- _-Extra work orders_
- _-Invoices_
- _-Material testing results_
- _-Scale tickets_
- _-Any other job specific documentation_
- Works closely with Superintendents and field staff to ensure accuracy of field logs (ie; correct phase codes, site locations, etc.)
- Attend and participate in daily scheduling meetings
- Monitor job progress for completion
- Produce invoice at completion of job or month end
- Attends month-end work in progress meetings prepared with analyses of projects
- Ensures customer acceptance of extra work and/or change orders prior to work being commenced
- Refer change requests back to Estimator
- Monitor assigned job’s field logs for accuracy of quantities daily
- Works closely with A/R for invoice discrepancies and ensures discrepancies are rectified in a timely manner
- Manage quantity discrepancies with customers through remeasures, site visits, etc.
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies
- Upholds company safety standards at all times
- Serves as a role model, reinforcing the customer focus, values and expectations through personal commitment and involvement;
- Creates opportunities for initiative and self-directed responsibility;
- Fosters flexibility and rapid response to changing opportunities and requirements;
- Makes decisions based on reliable data and facts pertaining to Customers, employees and processes;
