We are looking for you. We're hiring a Digital Media Manager to establish branded YouTube channels and lead the direction and creation of content for our various corporate social media platforms.

Thunderbird Entertainment was founded in 2003. With offices in Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa and Los Angeles, we have more than 1000 creatives on our team. We have two companies under Thunderbird Entertainment, Atomic Cartoons and Great Pacific Media. Atomic, founded in 1999, produces award-winning animation and GPM, founded in 2011, creates dynamic, award-winning factual and scripted content.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- In consultation with IP stakeholders, create and execute a YouTube channel strategy for a brand-new children's preschool series, including defining the channel programming strategy, creating and implementing channel content and art (banner, thumbnails templates, profile icon, video watermark) and overseeing general channel optimization and growth and implementation of audience development best-practices.
- Handle general video clip production needs and all day-to-day operations of the channels/platforms.
- Maintain editorial schedule for the channel and post content.
- Monitor YouTube analytics regularly, spotting insights, and modifying content and strategy accordingly.
- Oversee the creation and management of subsequent YouTube channels as required.
- Work with the Director, Marketing & Communications, to develop social media content across multiple platforms, including creating and maintaining an editorial calendar and programming strategies.
- Create and post compelling written and visual content across relevant platforms: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and emerging social media platforms where applicable.
- Collaborate and partner with different stakeholders on execution of YouTube and social programming in conjunction with marketing plans and product releases.
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager and other hiring stakeholders to leverage social media to promote open roles across relevant social media channels.
- Stay up to date on emerging digital trends, platforms and features.
- Research digital marketing opportunities and create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers for corporate and content-led brands.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- 3+ years of YouTube/digital and social media management experience in a professional setting.
- A deep and current knowledge of the YouTube platform and algorithm.
- Proven experience creating and scaling YouTube channels to profitability.
- An understanding of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Solid knowledge of TikTok.
- Proven ability to create visual assets using the Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint and video-editing software.
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to quality control and editorial standards.
- Excellent communication skills, with a flair for copywriting.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of professionalism and an ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders across departments and offices.
- Self-motivated, able deliver on tasks and meet deadlines.
- YouTube Certified and expert knowledge of YouTube Kids is an asset.
- A Love of TV, animation, pop culture, and knowledge of the entertainment industry is an asset.
- Must be currently legally eligible to work in Canada.
- BC and Ontario residents are preferred for this role.
