What to Expect

The Quality & Temperature Services Specialist is responsible for ensuring that ATS is in compliance with all internal regulations and controls when shipping customer product, including Temperature Management and the timely completion of deviation investigations and Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs).

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure compliance with the Health Canada Guideline GUI-0069, GUI-0001 (Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- (COS and Customer transportation related processes
- Maintain and ensure compliance with the ATS’s standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure that all SOP's are current
- Maintain all records required for audits and/or inspections
- Prepare and participate in Customer Audits of ATS facilities
- Prepare various reports as required (Mapping studies).
- Deviation reports within specified timelines
- Develop investigation plans and strategies
- Coordinate immediate actions in conjunction with department management upon identification of a non-conformance
- Utilize problem-solving and root cause analysis (RCA) techniques to determine root cause and contributing factors including root cause analysis meetings with key stakeholders
- Author investigation reports
- Generate and manage CAPA records. Implement CAPA plans and review CAPAs to determine their effectiveness
- Complaint notifications and perform Complaint investigations, as required.
- Support and/or perform tasks within QA department including SOP Management, Change Control, Compliance, etc. as required
- Any additional duties as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum bachelor’s degree in science
- 1-3 years of experience (Operations within the Pharmaceutical Industry preferred)
- Experienced with quality systems i.e., CAPA, Change Control, deviations, etc. is an asset
- Experience supporting customer audits and/or deficiency responses is an asset
- Strong computer skills
- Effectively communicate in English (oral and written)
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills
