Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: Rutherford and Keele
Pay rate: $70,000/ YR
Shift: 8AM -4PM Monday to Friday

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing operations, acting as a key liaison between production, R&D (Research and Development, regulatory affairs, and external stakeholders such as suppliers and regulatory bodies. The responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Specialist are foundational to our commitment to producing high-quality food and natural health products that not only meet but exceed both consumer expectations and regulatory standards.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in pharmaceutical environment
Strong working knowledge of Canadian regulations for food and natural health products, including NHP Regulations, CFIA requirements, and international standards that affect exports.
Experience with GMP, GLP, HACCP, and other quality assurance systems.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to excel within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adept at adapting to shifting priorities, working with strict deadlines and working under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with quality management software systems.

Product Testing and Certification
Regulatory Compliance and Documentation
Quality Integration in Product Development
Management of Non-Conformance and Customer Complaints
Training and Development
Regulatory and Industry Trends Monitoring
