Flair Airlines is currently seeking a permanent, full-time **Manager, Business Continuity** **to join our growing and ever-changing organization. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Emergency & Resilience Programs, the Manager, Business Continuity is responsible for all day-to-day business continuity and disruptive planning duties. This role is responsible for the full-cycle implementation and maintenance of the company business continuity program, including training development, implementation, and evaluation across all Flair Airline stakeholders.

**Primary Job Functions**:
The duties of the **Manager, Business Continuity **include:

- Conduct exercises throughout the organization to promote awareness, identify opportunities to increase resilience to disruptive incidents, and test existing plans and processes.
- Attend and participate in continuity exercises within all Flair operating areas and with airport authorities, as Flair’s representative.
- Responsible for the creation, maintenance, evaluation, and continuous improvement of Flair’s Business Continuity Program (BCP), including maintaining the BCP in accordance with all regulatory requirements, as applicable.
- Responsible for maintenance and evaluation of initial and recurrent employee training program(s) to support the BCP.
- Develop and deliver BCP training to internal/external stakeholders, as required
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the business continuity employee training program.
- Responsible for document control related to business continuity, including but not limited to business impact analyses and continuity or contingency plans.
- Ensure the airline’s full compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards, as related to business continuity.
- Directly manage and collaborate with external vendors and service providers for the emergency management & resilience program.
- Participate as a co-lead of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), and attend regular ERT meetings and committees, as required.
- Ensure the effective implementation of emergency threat/incident protocols.
- Other duties, as assigned.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher, supplemented by a diploma, certificate, or equivalent education or training related to business continuity, is required.
- Minimum five (5) years of business continuity leadership experience and demonstrated ability to develop, coach, and lead a team of continuity professionals.
- Membership in a professional organization related to business continuity, such as DRII, DRIC, or willingness to obtain, is considered an asset.
- Professional designation or certification related to business continuity or enterprise risks, such as ABCP, CBCP, ISO22301, CRM, or willingness to obtain, is considered an asset.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
- Clear criminal record check and satisfactory references
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without any restrictions

**Required Competencies**
- ** In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations and standards**: Familiarity with the specific regulations and standards applicable to the ULCC airline industry, including those set by regulatory bodies such as Transport Canada (TC), the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and relevant local authorities.
- **
Business continuity planning and management**: Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing business continuity plans, including risk assessments, incident response protocols, and business impact analyses. Demonstrated the ability to tailor a program to an organization’s unique challenges and requirements.

Incident management and decision-making**: Ability to effectively manage and respond to disruptions, incidents, and emergencies, making sound decisions under pressure and with limited time, while considering the broader organizational impact on operations, passenger safety, and reputation.

Industry knowledge and threat assessment**: Detailed understanding of the current regional, national, and international threat landscape as it relates to the ULCC airline industry, including potential disruptions, security risks, and emerging trends.
