Southern Alberta Community Living Association (SACLA) is looking to welcome a dynamic, collaborative, and professionally driven individual who has a true desire to lead a highly important function for the People & Culture Team, on a part-time basis. As a Human Resources Administrative Assistant, reporting to the Director, People & Culture, this position has a range of responsibilities under strict confidentiality with respect to employment records and employee information, while managing sensitive information, situations and interactions with others.
- **Cultivating Relationships, Connecting Communities, Creating Possibilities**_

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS**
- Setting up and maintaining personnel records for both staff and contractors.
- Tracking of pertinent personnel data and records; such as performance reviews and assessments.
- Contacting staff to submit conditions of employment and various training records.
- Preparing correspondence, documents, and reports for the Human Resources department.
- Document processing; entry of COS forms (change of status) and the efficient routing to others.
- Filing and data entry, managing a detailed and highly compiled array of employment records.
- Recruitment support, preparing offer letters and tasks associated with onboarding.
- Attending human resource and office team meetings as required.
- Working on various projects as assigned.
- Providing coverage for the Administrative Secretary-Receptionist when required

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Word and Excel; including general office equipment. Applied technical ability and knowledge of HRIS systems, such as ADP.
- A minimum of one to two years related work experience, with a post-secondary education, courses, and or relevant training applicable to the position, or a relevant combination of skills, training and experience that clearly demonstrates the required technical and business expertise.
- Experience at an operational level, working in an independent role with an ability to assess priorities, coordinate projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in a unionized environment.

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- Clear Criminal Record Check; inclusive of the Vulnerable Sector.
- Physically able to periodically lift, up to 25lbs.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.49-$27.43 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
