Empire life is looking to hire an Executive Assistant to join our team As the Executive Assistant to two senior executives, you will work in a hybrid working arrangement to support all the executive’s administrative needs.
**Why pursue this opportunity**Impactful work** - get the opportunity to work on meaningful work that has a positive impact on our customers, our company, and society as a whole.**Deliver excellence - **provide a personal, accurate, professional, and courteous service**What you’ll be working on**- Sophisticated calendar management of two senior executives with multiple internal and external stakeholders- Coordinate internal and external meetings and ensure effective communication of information to key internal and external stakeholders- Proactively manage travel booking and arrangement of meetings and logistics- Assemble and analyze highly confidential information from multiple sources, and prepare reports, agendas, presentations, etc.- Act as the first line of support for internal and external stakeholders; coordinate, prioritize and respond to mail, telephone and electronic enquiries and/or forward to the appropriate person or department- Perform transcription duties of a highly confidential, sensitive, and/or technical nature- Carry out special projects, as assigned and independently research, prioritize and follow up on status- Collaborate with other executive assistants and administrators to ensure appropriate coverage in support of company wide special projects and initiatives
**What we’re looking for you to have**:
- 5+ years progressive experience managing the activities and schedules at the Senior Executive level- Experience communicating with a broad range of individuals in all levels of the organization-
- Strong ability to product high quality results with excellent attention to detail- High level of tactfulness, diplomacy and the ability to handle confidential information with a high level of discretion- Advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software with a high degree of comfort with technology- Clear writing, keyboarding, editing and proof-reading skills- Well-developed communication, negotiation and influence skills
- Ability to be flexible, adaptable, efficient while open to learning new things and being resourceful
- Completion of a community college diploma in business administration or other relevant program**Beyond the salary**:
