Join our Human Resources team as an **HR Generalist**

**Job Summary**

HR expertise in the areas of recruitiment, onboarding, training and development of employees within an automotive parts manufacturing environment. Act as the single point of HR contact for assigned plants.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Recruiting responsibilities through to onboarding
- Respond to employee requests and inquiries
- Support managers with employee issues, including conflict resolution, conducting investigations and issuing discipine
- Maintain and update employee information in our HRIS
- Provide guidance and coaching to Managers and Supervisors
- Develop and administer policies and programs
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Make recomendations in the areas of employee engagement and process improvement.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives
- Payroll back-up and support
- Be present on plant floor, accessible to employees.
- HR administrative duties as required.

**What are we looking for?**
- A degree or diploma in Human Resources.
- A minimum of 2 yrs. experience in an HR, within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiar with H.R.I.S. systems, experience with recruiting, training, benefit administration, and Health and Safety.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is an asset.
- Payroll experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of Employment Law & Workplace Safety and Insurance Act and Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Industrial Establishments.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Capable of multi-tasking and working with limited timelines on occasion.
- Friendly, professional and willing to try.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and excel.

This is an in-office position, 8am-4:30pm, M-F.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
