Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Specialist to join our team in Guelph Farm. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for managing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, talent development, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's success while developing your skills and expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute HR plans and programs that align with business goals
• Provide guidance and support to management teams on people-related matters
• Manage the recruitment process, including creating job postings, screening candidates, and making job offers
• Provide onboarding and orientation to new team members
• Manage disability claims and advise management on next steps
• Work with the larger HR Team to develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
• Lead the performance management process, including coaching hiring managers on conducting performance reviews and setting goals

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior HR Generalist or HRBP in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations in Ontario and Canada
• Proven track record of successful recruitment, sourcing, and placement of new hourly and salaried hires
• Experience managing HR projects and initiatives from inception to completion
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive HR decisions
• Excellent verbal and written communications, fluency in French is an asset
• Strong understanding of OHSA is an asset
• CHRP designation is an asset
