**Summary of Duties**:

- Responsible for conducting daily audits regarding data quality entries in the Patient Registration System (QCPR) and Excelicare which impacts distribution of reports to external care providers.
- Identify errors and ensure updates/corrections are made in a timely fashion.
- Liaise with external stakeholders to maximize data quality
- Produce daily reports that will facilitate appropriate follow-up, identify areas for improvement and other reports as requested.
- Process Clinician Updates and Inquires
- Creation of Incoming Residents, Physicians, NPs and Clinical Clerks and Fellow IDs for all required Health records Applications
- Create dictation IDs and perform updates
- Complete MAC audits
- Maintain External physician entries
- Processing and providing access for Research requests
- Processing of loose reports and returned mail
- Completion of Sovera file returns and processing of manual index
- Handle confidential documents
- Able to work independently and be very organized
- Work collaboratively with Manager, Supervisors and key stakeholders
- Assist in other tasks as assigned

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- Successful completion of a health information management program or equivalent health informatics or higher level of education in the Health Care Related field.
- Eexcellent organization as well as strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
- Outstanding customer services skills is essential
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with attention to details
- Demonstrated satisfactory performance and attendance record
- Ability to work independently and exercise tact and discretion
- Demonstrated ability to function in a changing and sometimes stressful work environment
- Clear understanding of legislations and guidelines related to the Security and Privacy of Personal Health Information
- Must be able to prioritize workload and work in a team environment
- Demonstrated sound judgment and diplomacy
- Proficient in Patient Care System (preferred)
