**What can I expect to do in this role?**:

- Empower a team of professional staff to grow and develop to their full potential, fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, equity, and excellence
- Build collaborative relationships with internal and external partners
- Provide expertise and strategic leadership across the division on the use of various data and analytical technology services and tools.
- Provide strategic leadership on the divisional data strategy and development of the division's other strategies, projects and programs for continuous improvement and modernization.
- Lead and manage a team of specialists in the provision of research, analysis and program evaluation expertise to support the development, delivery and monitoring of ministry policy and program initiatives.
- Provide advice, expertise, analyses, and recommendations to ministry senior management and executives to support ministry policy and program strategic planning and evidence based decision-making.
- Lead the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of information management solutions.

- You have leadership experience and the ability to inspire, engage, motivate, develop and mentor staff to deliver on results during on-going change and transformation.

- You have demonstrated ability to effectively utilize resources to lead and deliver transformational initiatives.

**Technical Expertise**:

- You have extensive knowledge and experience in leading research, data interpretation, economic analyses, and program evaluations.
- You have expert knowledge of the theories, principles and best practices in the field of analytics, performance measurement and evaluation, information management including quantitative and qualitative data modeling and analysis and evidence informed decision making.
- You have extensive knowledge and experience in leading research, data interpretation, trend analyses, and program evaluations.
- You have experience developing and delivering data analyses, operational policies, and standards to deliver consistent analytical frameworks across all divisional programs.

**Analytical, Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Skills**:

- You have the ability to analyze trends, emerging information and data issues to identify operational requirements, assess risks and impacts on program delivery, and recommend options to mitigate risks.
