**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Director, Technology and Business Intelligence, the Manager, Technology and Business
Intelligence is a member f the FST leadership team and is responsible for maintaining and continuously
improving FST’sinformation technology (IT) systems, operations, data quality, reporting, and processes.
The manager leads a technology and business intelligence team and builds a culture of learning,
innovation and collaboration focused on delivering exceptional customer service. In conjunction with the
FST leadership team, and in collaboration with external IT vendors, the manager maintains client, financial
and service data systems and reporting, developing strong partnerships with vendors, staff, and
management.

**Responsibilities**

Technology
- Monitor and manage IT service levels and the progress of project work to ensure key deliverables and

timelines are met.
- Coordinate with internal IT support and external IT vendors to resolve identified issues with FST

systems.
- Identify and implement system, process, or workflow changes to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage the implementation of change requests in FST systems.
- Work collaboratively with FST teams to understand their technology requirements, identify

opportunities for improvement and make recommendations.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and recommend business technology solutions to

improve operations and drive innovation.
- Provide input into the design of IT policies and enforce those policies to ensure compliance and risk

mitigation.
- Support the Director, Technology and Business Intelligence in the design, implementation, and

maintenance of the FST IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with external IT vendors to ensure that FST technology systems and business intelligence

initiatives adhere to robust cybersecurity standards and privacy and confidentiality best practices.

Business Intelligence
- Work with the Director, Technology and Business Intelligence and the FST leadership team to develop

key performance indicators (KPIs) and business intelligence priorities for departments and managers.
- Ensure client and service data systems collect and analyze data efficiently to support reporting,

planning, and decision making.
- Enforce data governance policies, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security.
- Work collaboratively with FST teams to understand their data, reporting and analytics needs, provide

guidance on how to leverage BI tools to support data driven decision making.
- Identifies training needs in relation to process and system changes for internal staff and external

partners to ensure data integrity and alignment.
- Manage the continued development and integration of business intelligence tools.
- Provide support and guidance to a team of business intelligence analysts to create meaningful

Power BI reports, data visualizations and dashboards to improve data
- driven decision making. Assist the Director, Technology and Business Intelligence in FST’s accreditation process to ensure
that FST maintains its accreditation in good standing.

Leadership and Supervision
- Build a culture of learning, innovation and collaboration within the technology and business

intelligence team.
- Provide guidance, coaching and mentorship to foster a high-performing team environment that

empowers team members, and supports and encourages creative problem solving and decision
