**Position Purpose and Summary**

**Key Areas of Accountability**
- Counsels incoming and current undergraduate, graduate, and adult students on financial aid options.
- Active member of the evaluation committee for university scholarships administered by the Financial Aid Office.
- Assists the Manager, Financial Aid with disbursing financial aid into student accounts.
- Participate in Financial aid workshops and individual meetings to promote financial literacy
- Assist in a variety of seasonal projects and task as determined by the Manager, Financial Aid to assist with seasonal peaks of work load.
- Understand and work within the dynamics of the Financial Aid and Enrolment Management group to ensure that the team’s purpose is achieved.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Excellent organizational skills and communication skills. Strong computer skills, including MS Office, and familiarity with large databases. Proven multi-tasking and time management skills. Accurate keyboarding skills at 60 wpm.
- Effective communication and public speaking skills.

**Standards & Requirements**

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree required.

**Experience**:

- 1-2 years required in office settings which includes administrative responsibilities.
- Experience with government loan process and experience with international cultures is an asset.
- Duties and responsibilities that do not constitute a major change may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of the supervisor either orally or in writing._

**Salary Range**:$40,000.00 To 44,000 Annually
