**Purpose**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Trades Program Coordinator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to proactively reach out to potential customers via phone calls with the goal of generating new leads, setting up appointments, and driving sales opportunities. The Trades Program Coordinator will play a vital role in expanding our customer base and contributing to the overall growth of the organization.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct cold calls to prospective customers using provided contact lists or other sources to generate new leads and identify potential opportunities.
- Engage in professional and persuasive conversations to effectively communicate our services, value proposition, and benefits to potential customers.
- Build rapport and establish strong relationships with prospects through effective questioning and active listening to understand their needs and pain points.
- Qualify leads by assessing their level of interest, budget, decision-making authority, and fit with our services.
- Effectively articulate and deliver compelling sales pitches, overcoming objections, and providing accurate and up-to-date information to create interest and drive conversions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions, conversations, and progress in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Continuously stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively position our offerings during cold calls.
- Meet or exceed weekly/monthly targets for the number of calls made, leads generated, and appointments set.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to provide feedback and insights gained from cold calls to improve sales strategies and refine target customer profiles.
- Stay compliant with all applicable laws and regulations related to cold calling and telemarketing.
**Working Conditions/Physical Requirements**:
- Employment is conditional upon providing a clean police criminal check.
- Employment is conditional upon maintaining confidentiality of CFT information.
- Proven experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or inside sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, build rapport, and influence prospects over the phone.
- Strong negotiation and objection handling skills to effectively address customer concerns and objections.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets and objectives.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing time effectively to maximize productivity and achieve goals.
- Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in using sales tools and technology for lead tracking and communication.
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly, particularly regarding product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Persistence, resilience, and a positive attitude in overcoming challenges and rejection.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to cold calling and telemarketing.
**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
