- As a Business Improvement Strategist, you will provide strategic and operational support to Fleet & Inventory. You will deliver solutions for business and cost efficiencies, analyze data to develop strategic recommendations and support continuous improvement initiatives. Primary duties include:

Develop and implement strategies and policies to guide business unit operations.
- Support and/or lead the execution of various projects within the business unit, particularly cost efficiency and business improvement initiatives.
- Support and/or lead priority initiatives, including developing and documenting processes and systems to support business unit goals.
- Gather and interpret data from various sources, make strategic recommendations to senior leaders, identify opportunities and trends and develop strategies to mitigate risks and realize efficiencies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to respond to business needs, solve problems and develop options and alternatives.
- Track industry and competitive trends, conduct scenario/opportunity analysis, and identify business risks and innovative strategic solutions.
- Facilitate sessions and interface with management, operational staff and organizational partners on strategic initiatives.
- Develop reports, presentations and deliver recommendations to the leadership team.

**Qualifications**

- A degree in Business, Finance, Planning, Public Policy, Social Science or a related field plus at least 5 years of experience in strategic planning, policy development, process and business improvement, and/or business analysis.
- Experience with project management, facilitation, business analysis, public policy and working knowledge of various analysis methodologies is preferred.
- An advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) is required.
- Knowledge and experience in business analytics, performance metrics and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience with developing strategies and writing content and reports for senior leadership.
- A diverse range of experiences in large organizations and businesses.
- A demonstrated track record of meeting tight, competing deadlines with tangible deliverables.
- Success in this position requires the following competencies: the ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team setting, demonstrated problem solving skills and a high attention to detail, well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, a strong customer focus, business and political acumen, and the ability to manage the implementation of business and strategic concepts.

- work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
