Are you passionate about healthcare and looking to make a difference in a medical office setting? We're seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Medical Office Assistant to join our team in a Family Medical Office in London ON.

**Position**: Medical Office Assistant

**Type**:Full-Time (30+ hours per week): In Person

**Working days**: Monday to Friday with Occasional Evenings and Occ. Saturday Mornings

**Compensation**: Competitive and Commensurate with Experience

**Location**: Springbank Medical Centre, London, ON

**Responsibilities**:

- Work directly with the physician on staff and other team members
- Handle inbound and outbound phone calls and patient inquiries
- Schedule appointments based on triage priority
- Greet, Assist, and Register patients with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Manage patient records (incl. patient vitals such as temperature, height, weight, blood pressure and brief visit info)
- Photocopy, scan and upload necessary reports to patients’ charts
- Additional filing and preparing documents as necessary
- Assist with billing and payments (OHIP, WSIB, and Third Party)

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma from community college in Medical Office Administration
- Prior experience in a medical office setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in computer software and office equipment incl. typing skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Compassionate and patient-focused
- EMR experience required, preferably Accuro
