Reporting the Manager, the Workforce Consultant provides strategic direction and expertise in the development and implementation of standardized tools and processes for short
- and long-range medical staff human resource planning. This role requires the ability to analyze the current state, understand existing challenges, and leverage this knowledge to advance innovative ideas and comprehensive strategies.

Working within a complex environment, the Workforce Consultant navigates the unique characteristics of medical staff culture and their role as independent contractors. By establishing robust relationships with diverse partners, the Workforce Consultant gains an in-depth understanding of workforce challenges and collaboratively develops strategies to overcome them. They leverage their analytical skills to provide insights and recommendations that optimize resource allocation, and support the creation of effective processes. Additionally, they monitor key performance indicators, develop and manage real-time dashboards, and act as data steward for operational data sets within Medical Staff Support and Resources.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education, Training And Experience**:
A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Human Resources or analytics, and a minimum of three years of experience in a role related to the duties of the position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Skills And Abilities**:

- Demonstrated competence in cultural safety & humility; experience working with Indigenous communities.
- Proven ability to create comprehensive human resource strategies, using an integrated, big picture approach to synthesize information from various sources.
- Strong strategic planning skills, particularly in the development and implementation of strategic workforce plans.
- Intermediate data analysis skills, with the ability to create processes and dashboards that yield data-driven insights for strategic planning and accurate forecasting.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication, with a demonstrated excellence in writing, editing, and proofreading.
- Demonstrated leadership, facilitation, interpersonal and change management skills to engage diverse stakeholders and foster endorsement for new initiatives.
- Self-motivated and innovative, capable of working independently to conceptualise and implement new ideas that drive continuous improvement.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability manage and support work plans and schedules.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage deadlines and changing priorities.
- Experience in data privacy and protection, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage and safeguard sensitive information.
- Background in policy development, including the ability to provide input and recommendations on policy enhancements, guidelines and procedures.
