**Position Description**:
We are seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with training in clinical research, biostatistics, and/or mathematical modeling to work in collaboration with a team of Investigators on a funded project to develop a predictive model for the diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea in children based on facial photographs taken by a smartphone.

The position will be full-time, in-person, and entirely dry lab-based. The initial contract will be for one year, with the possibility of an extension.

**Here's What You'll Get to Do**:

- Monitor the study progress and timelines.
- Oversee research budgets.
- Review relevant literature, assist in the development of the analytical design, conduct analyses in a reproducible manner and lead the reporting of these analyses.
- Engage with key stakeholders throughout the process of the grant.
- Prepare manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed research journals
- Provide assistance in mentoring junior trainees, including graduate students and summer students
- Present research findings at conferences

**Here's What You'll Need**:

- PhD degree in a relevant discipline, such as medical sciences, epidemiology, or biostatistics.
- Ability to work independently and exhibit the initiative to explore new and innovative research directions based on recent findings in the literature.
- Strong communications skills
- Proficient in academic writing
- Experience in biostatistics, particularly in evaluating and validating a diagnostic method is preferred.
