The Autism Research Center at Bloorview Research Institute, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a research Post Doctoral Fellow with expertise in neuroscience/ signal processing advanced analytics with an interest in biomarkers (sleep, gait). statistics/machine learning/data science. He/she/they will part of a team that will evaluate sleep and gait as potential biomarkers in neurodevelopmental conditions. develop innovative algorithms that improve the understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions and contribute to development of technology-based supports for children. In that context, he/she/they will collaborate with engineers, clinicians, and third-party researchers and laboratories.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Finalize acquisition protocol and help implement across multi-site network
- Co develop processing and analytic pipelines
- Ensure data quality for physiological data, identify and address causes of poor signal quality
- Support setup of devices and software used for data collection
- Prepare manuscripts, specifically methods and results sections
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary team, provide updates during weekly meetings
- Manage multiple on-going projects
- Maintaining the privacy and security of data being analyzed by following hospital best practices and procedures

**Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- Bachelor's PhD/MD degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
- Some experience with acquisition of biomarkers and advanced analyticsFamiliarity with statistics, data visualization, and machine learning methods
- Proficiency with Python and/or R, specifically related to statistics and machine learning
- Experience analysing clinical research data, such as physiological signals, clinical assessments, survey data, or neuroimaging data (transferable skills also considered)
- Experience communicating research results, including written and oral
