**Position Description**:
**Post Doctoral Research Fellow - Psychiatric Genetics/Genomics, Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada**
We are seeking a post-doctoral research fellow with training in genetic epidemiology, biostatistics, bioinformatics, neurosciences or psychology/psychiatry.
The fellow will have an opportunity to develop advanced skills in genetic epidemiology, quantitative data analysis, bioinformatics, biostatistics, genome analysis, neurosciences, psychiatry and psychology and will have the opportunity to interact with a dynamic community of researchers including biostatisticians, clinicians, cognitive neuroscientists, genetic epidemiologists and trainees through access to the Strategic Training in Advanced Genetic Epidemiology (STAGE) program in Toronto.
- The position is for one year with the possibility of renewal for a second year conditional upon successful completion of the first year requirements._

**Here's What You'll Need**
- Completed PhD and/or MD degree or under progress
- Training in genetics/genomics, epidemiology, bioinformatics, biostatistics, psychiatry or psychology.
- Computer programming skills in R, linux, etc. and experience with data management
- Track record of publishing scientific papers as a lead author.
- Motivation and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communications skills (oral and written).
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to advancing and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity and inclusion objectives.
