**Sommaire du poste**:
L’assistante ou l’assistant en administration et comptabilité, relevant du directeur opérations et stratégies, a comme mandat principal de fournir du soutien en gestion financière et en administration pour tous les départements, programmes, projets, activités et bureaux de La Cité universitaire.

Le titulaire du poste est le premier point de contact en ce qui concerne les questions financières à La Cité, il s’occupe de la coordination des activités avec le service de gestion des finances et de l’approvisionnement de l’U de R.

Les subventions sont une partie importante du budget de La Cité, conséquemment, le titulaire du poste doit produire et gérer les rapports financiers avec diligence afin que La Cité respecte les exigences auprès des organismes subventionnaires. Le titulaire aide aussi à préparer les demandes de subvention.

En plus des services de budgétisation, de préparation de rapports et de finances offerts à toutes les unités, le titulaire agit de ressource en comptabilité et pour le système, il aide à la gestion des comptes fournisseurs et débiteurs ainsi qu’aux opérations des systèmes financiers.

Le titulaire du poste s’occupe aussi du processus opérationnel, de la gestion financière, du respect des exigences et de l’administration des affaires pour tous les départements afin d’appuyer les objectifs de La Cité universitaire.

Le titulaire du poste contribue au plan de développement et supervise la planification financière, la budgétisation et les projets spéciaux. Ainsi, il appuie la direction en fournissant des recommandations, des évaluations de coûts, des contrats et des stratégies et procédures de facturation.

**Responsabilités**:

- Gestion des fonds relatifs aux subventions.
- Contrôle des inventaires et des données.
- Achats et mandats contractuels.
- Gestion efficace et diligente des comptes fournisseurs et des comptes débiteurs pour tous les comptes et les subventions de La Cité.
- Tenu des rapports budgétaires avec FAST et Excel pour veiller à la concordance des comptes et préparer/interpréter des rapports pour appuyer le directeur adjoint aux opérations dans la préparation d’états financiers détaillés présentés en différents formats pour divers partenaires.
- Soutien au directeur adjoint aux opérations pour l’analyse des dépenses globales dans un souci d’efficacité en fonction des coûts.
- Révision périodique des contrats de services et de produits avec divers fournisseurs et contractuels.
- Suivi des crédits budgétaires, des dépenses, des soldes de subventions et autres activités financières pour assurer l’exactitude.
- Soutien aux projets, aux activités et à l’administration. Le titulaire aiguille le corps professoral et le personnel dans les aspects financiers de leurs projets pour assurer la conformité aux exigences en matière de subvention, de production de rapports, de budgétisation, de dépenses, de contrats, d’achats, de récupération, de contrôle d’inventaire et de politiques universitaires.
- Soutien pour les bourses et les tuteurs.

**Position Summary**:
The Administration Accounting Assistant is accountable to the Assistant Director, Operations to provide financial management and administrative support for all departments, programs, projects, activities, and offices within La Cité universitaire.

The incumbent is the first point of contact in regards to financial matters within La Cité and is the primary functional liaison with UofR Finance and Supply Management.

Because funding is such an important part of La Cité budgeting, the incumbent will manage and file financial reports in a timely manner which will enable La Cité to meet its obligations in regards to its funding agencies and help prepare funding proposals.

In addition to budgeting, reporting and financial oversight provided to all units, the incumbent is the accounting and system resource, providing support for payables, receivables and financial systems operations.

The incumbent is responsible for the business process, financial management, compliance, and business administration for all departments in support of La Cité universitaire’s goals.

The incumbent contributes to plan development, and provides oversight for financial planning, budgeting and special projects. As such, they assist management with recommendations, pricing, contracts, and invoicing strategy and procedures.
